This guide will show you how to install DXRP on your S&box server and configure the correct game mode through your server panel. By following the steps below, your server will be properly set up and ready for players to join.
1. Log in to your Game Control Panel.
2. Go to Commandline Manager.
3. Navigate the default commandline and click on Active Modify.
4. From here, you can change your server’s game mode by selecting the game mode you want to use.
5. You can also change your S&box game mode via the Custom Gamemodes command line. To get the game mode identifier, visit the official S&box website.
Go to the game mode page in your browser and copy the part of the URL after sbox.game/. Then replace / with ..
Example:sbox.game/facepunch/sandbox → facepunch.sandbox
6. Don’t forget to click Apply to save the game mode you selected.
7. Start your server and connect to it to verify that the changes were applied successfully.
